Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2021 published

Recently, Shanghai Ranking, a professional organization of higher education evaluation, published the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2021. The GRAS 2021 contains rankings of universities in 54 subjects across Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. 　　According to the official website, the main objects of this ranking are the universities that published a certain number of papers on specific subjects from 2015 to 2019, and the literature data of GRAS are mainly from Web of Science and InCites database. The indicators for the ranking mainly include research output (Q1), research influence (CNCI), international collaboration (IC), research quality (Top), and international academic awards (Award). 　
　Shanghai Jiao Tong University ranked top 10 of the world in 6 subjects and top 100 in 29 subjects, with a total of 43 subjects in the ranking list. Among them, the subjects under Antai College of Economics & Management (ACEM) are leading among the universities in Mainland China, with the Management ranking first among the universities in Mainland China and the Finance ranking first in 2021 and second in 2020 among the universities in Mainland China. The ranking fully reflects the international level of ACEM in academic papers publication, academic awards and so on.　
　Shanghai Ranking began to publish the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) in 2009.
