Nike releases Pegasus 37 with React foam

Nike’s most beloved trainer has a few notable upgrades for its 37th iteration. The Pegasus 37, which becomes available today in the US, offers a lighter version of the shoe with higher energy return. If you’re a Pegasus fan, these are upgrades you’ll be interested in.To buy more nike free run shoes sale with cheap price, you can visit shoesshox.com official website.

The biggest change to the trainer comes from the React Foam. React is lighter, more responsive and more durable than the previous versions Cushlon foam. This midsole will have similar feel to the React Infinity–a firm shoe with a springy ride.

The company also added an air bag to the front of the shoe (think Nike Air Max 2015, but for running). The bag, which used to run the entire length of the shoe, now sit at the forefoot, where runners have their last point of contact in their stride. This upgrade, coupled with the React foam, gives the shoe significantly higher energy return.

Nike created the React Infinity in hopes of solving the injury problem, one they feel has been under-considered by shoe companies. Brett Holtz, Vice President of Nike Running Footwear said in January, “We want to get runners to the start line and this is done by reducing injury in all runners. That’s our goal with this upcoming Spring line.” This Pegasus 37 is the latest release of Nike’s spring line.

The Zoom bag has a different pressure between the two genders’ shoes. Through testing, Nike found that women wanted a plusher ride, whereas men wanted a stiffer shoe–that’s why there’s a five PSI (pound-force per square inch) difference between the two shoes.

Earlier this year, Polar released the Vantage M2, joining the V, V2 and M as the latest addition to the company’s Vantage series. The M2 has all the features the M had and then some, with additional smartwatch capabilities, better battery life and more. Like its predecessor, this is a sleek, lightweight watch, and it will help any runner get the most out of every workout. The Vantage M2 is available now on the Polar website, starting at $449.99.

While the Polar Vantage M2 has the same base battery life as the M, it has power-saving options that its predecessor lacks. When this feature is activated on the M2, its battery life jumps to 100 hours. Even without the power-saving settings turned on, the watch can last for 30 hours without a charge, and that’s at full blast with the M2’s GPS, heart rate and other fitness tracking systems engaged. With such a long battery life, even if you start a marathon with your watch at 50 per cent, it will still be on and tracking your run as you cross the finish line.

The battery life would be impressive for any watch, but the M2 is also incredibly lightweight, weighing in at just 45 g (the same as the M and 7 g lighter than the Vantage V2). With such a light watch, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it had a weak battery and short life, but that is definitely not the case with the latest in the Vantage series.
